The Koran Burning Issue

I am sure everyone is aware of the whole “lets burn Korans on 9/11″ mess that is currently making its way through the media. The good General got on TV and issued his statement saying it will do nothing but cause issues for his men overseas. A real heartfelt message. I promised I wouldn’t rant about this on Twitter but there is just too much to say, I can’t let it be.

Some issues come to mind immediately. Let’s make a few things clear, first to the clowns and rednecks who are going to be burning the Korans. You are fools and I am embarrassed for you. Anyone who supports an idea like this needs to get smashed in the face and please keep it mind how anti-violence I am. This one just can’t be ignored. Yes you have a right to take part and do whatever you want on your property but you people do realize that more than white Christian Americans died in 9/11 right? I mean really, please tell me you know this. People from all walks of life lost their lives on that day. It wasn’t just blond hair, blue eyed, white Jesus who died. It was everyone. White, Black, Hispanic, Chinese, Indian, Catholic, Jewish, Christian, and YES Muslim. Here’s an idea, burn your house down in protest you clowns. Islamic extremism is NO DIFFERENT than Christian extremism. Please see the fools from the Phelps family. These people want the same things the Islamic extremists want, a State made up according to their foolish religion. I often question what’s worse, government or religion? The two most harmful institutions ever created. I can’t even imagine which has done more damage. The point is if you are going to burn Korans burn a Torah as well as a King James Bible too. Any form of extremism is unacceptable. You wouldn’t see that though because you are socially blind.

The next thing to address is to the good Generals of the United States Armed Forces, as well as the “all-wise” ladies and gentlemen in Congress. You do realize that these people aren’t angry about burning Korans? Right? They are in fact upset with the meddling in their business overseas. We have military bases in something like 70 countries? Do you THINK that might be an issue? How would New York feel if China built a nice military base in Queens for “homeland security”? I don’t think that would go over well. Perhaps, (and this is to the Congressmen), just perhaps the idea of removing your head from your ass may be the pro-tip you need? Stop patrolling nations, stop nation building. Democracy doesn’t belong overseas. Democracy is a flawed and disgusting system of mob rule. Leave people alone and protect your own corrupt borders. Worry about expanding freedom here not aggressing overseas on innocent people. If they want change then leave change to them, they will figure it out. Not like those are your concerns. Things like oil, power, and expansion of American influence is all you care about right Congress? Building bases, invading countries, and destroying lives and property will not make America friends anywhere. Perhaps a class in Foreign Relations 101 may be useful?

This of course is just a rant, I remain against the idea of a state, a national bank and currency, and oppose any political military industrial coercion. Turn off your television and set yourself free. Matter of fact, throw it out the window. The State is the problem and we are all victims. Peace be with you.

An Image to Sum Up The NYC Mosque “Issue”.

LOL! Click!

Just a quick little blurb because I am sick to death of the media spin and all of the Statist rhetoric! Like I wrote on Twitter anyone who can’t see the issue in banning an individual or company from using their private property to celebrate free speech is less American than terrorists who attack America

If you ban a Muslim place of worship what would stop a Jewish or Buddhist place of worship from being banned? If you have an issue please see a dictionary and look up “private property”. If you really have an issue with it then pool some people, pool your money and buy the property.

Despite what a lot of you Statists may think, America isn’t a Christian nation. It is void of an official religion. Get over it. The government has no business regulating free speech. Were the attacks horrible? Of course! However, banning the building of this mosque would be the equivalent of banning German ownership of buildings in Israel. Foolish! This is not an action you want your government to take. (You don’t really want a government to take any action in anything haha!)

Anyway, the image speaks for itself.

Police Abuse Their Power at a Football Match and… Just Watch

Do I support violence? No. Do I support Police using excessive force on a skinny twenty-something year old kid overcome by passion at a Football match? Fuck no! There were 4+ security guards on one skinny kid, did they need to begin stabbing him with a baton over and over? No. This was unacceptable.

The gentleman who ran on to the field did in fact violate the rules of the private institution and for that he is guilty. Moving this over into the realm of a market anarchy the violator would be tackled and removed from the stadium. Would he be beaten like that when he is clearly not resisting? Probably not, the risk to violate an individual would be too great. In the event they did the violating security force would no doubt lose business and be subject to some sort of arbitration. If the kid was stabbing players or trying to harm someone then I can see the need for immediate force. The video shows though, he was not.

What is very acceptable is the power of people to band together and rise up against injustice and abusive force. Should they have attacked the police? The answer is no, violence is never the answer, but when you abuse your authoritarian power on someone who has not committed a violent crime this is the result. It would have ended much better if the mob of people simply rescued the victim and broke up the altercation. Victimizing the security team makes them just as guilty in regard to rights violation as the violent security team. Alas, nothing in life is perfect.

The Enemy of the State

Murray N. Rothbard, the founder of Anarcho-Capitalism and modern libertarianism.

Today, rather than celebrate independence, I choose to honor the true enemy of the state Murray N. Rothbard. His Anarcho-Capitalist system of a stateless society dictated by market forces, and protected by a simple code that no individual has a right to aggress against another’s person or property spawned a revolution.

Before his death in 1995 Murray Rothbard was considered by some to be the most dangerous man on the planet, a true honor. This distinction was not rendered from any ability to command an army of violent aggressors, or execute hundreds of thousands of innocent people. This distinction came from his noted brilliance in politics and economics.

A man of character, peace, and integrity he never raised a hand in aggression, never committed an act of violence, never struck a foul blow against any individual. His “crime” was his ability to educate and expose the ills and corruptions of any established State.

To this very day, through his teachings and brilliant contributions the inner workings of any State shake and crumble beneath his pen. A lack of an “independence day” is in honor of his fight against tyranny, Statism, and government coercion. Today I pay tribute to my hero Murray Rothbard.

“The greatest danger to the State is independent intellectual criticism.”
– Murray N. Rothbard.

Rest in peace.

I need to move to a city… soon

I was originally going to post this on Tumblr but I decided not to. I couldn’t understand why I would post this there when I have a perfectly good website to exploit. I really don’t know when I transformed from daily blogger to “guy who had to run a ‘professional’ website”. I really don’t care. This is my site so I make the rules and if I want to complain or post pictures of iPhone apps it doesn’t matter because there is no status quo. With that said I took this off Tumblr and threw it on here.

I’m so worn out from the suburbs. It’s like a top that never stops spinning, the novelty has worn away and I don’t want to play with it anymore. That was really poetic but I think it best describes the feeling. I would love to move across the pond but that seems too big a task at this point. Being in school keeps me grounded but that’s good. All in due time. Perhaps a smaller city first.

I think this rant was inspired by the fact that school is out and I actually miss it. I need a big, big change. It has to involve buildings that stand over 5 stories high. I will get there.
