This couple bought and restored a church in Kyloe, Northumberland. It has always been a dream of mine to do something similar. While they opted for some design aspects that I am not into I can’t help but love what they did. I have always wanted to buy an old church and turn it into my home. Newport, RI had one for sale years ago and I tried my very best to get into it but alas it was sold.
There is just something epic about living in a church… stain glass windows and the history of the structure. Someday Jay, someday. Anyway, check out what they did. As I understand it the church was falling apart so when they stepped into ownership they opted to restore major aspects of it (at 3 times the cost) and then renovate and modernize the rest. Glad to see that they care about history and preservation.Recent Tweets
