The Media is Out to Stop Ron Paul — Here’s Proof

Edit: I’ve been informed in the comments that this is actually an error and Newt did win. So while this example of Paul sabotage is in error, there are hundreds of other examples. Keep your mind sharp!

If you have followed then you won’t be surprised by the attached images. If you haven’t been following Ron Paul, the libertarian Presidential hopeful — and last hope for America — has been at the mercy of the Mainstream Media cabal.

Paul, painted as “the underdog” is set to win Iowa, one of the most important pre-election polls. However you wouldn’t know that based on the television! The following image says it all.*

I wasn’t aware 22 was greater than 23?

* This post is not an endorsement of Dr. Paul, just an illustration that the Media is devious and the government is corrupt. I do support Dr. Paul in terms of his continuous fight for liberty but at this junction I am torn between the fact I am an Anarcho-capitalist and also living “within” the system of democracy — which is violent no matter how peaceful the “elected” king.

A Letter to Walter Block

Professor Block wrote a great article about what he calls “self hating libertarians” and some of their criticism of Dr. Ron Paul. I responded with the following:

Thank you for the great post. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I have but a simple question in response:

If Dr. Paul were to become President wouldn’t he now head up the very state that voluntaryists and An-caps oppose? Personally I love Dr. Paul but I can’t mindfully bring myself to voting for him as this one action would mean that I am accepting the state as legitimate. Voting for Dr. Paul and having him win would mean that I am no better than a democrat or republican. Mad at the system when “my guy isn’t running things” but thrilled when he is.

Would this not mean after all of my reading from Rothbard to Hoppe, I would merely be ignoring everything I hold dear so I could use a broken system of democracy as my own “failed god” to force others into my ideal version of majority rule?

How then, can one support him in his electoral campaign? Again I love and support Dr. Paul — I have read a majority of his books and followed his career since the early 2000′s. He is the true libertarian philosopher of our time but a head of state is still a head of state. No?

Much respect to you sir, you have been a source of inspiration for many years. Just my two cents.

Regards,
Jaison De Montalegre

More as it develops. I really hope I get to speak with him on this subject. I have a really had time rationalizing this whole “voting is violent”, “democracy is a failed god”, but “vote for Ron” mess I find myself in. I realize Block isn’t an An-Cap but he is sort of calling us out, no? And for the record none of his reasons provided even remotely apply to me in terms of why I wouldn’t vote.

Ron Paul Rips Apart More Fallacies

Dr. Paul on the sad state of American foreign policy:

“This is a typical example of what happens when we run on intervention-type foreign policies. We get in the middle of these fights. We’ve been in the middle of this for 30 years now. We’ve given Mubarak $60 billion. We’re responsible for a lot of the mess that is over there.”

Ron Paul doing what he does best. Tearing down the walls of that fake media influenced world most people live in. The Fact remains the United States government has been funding this puppet dictator Mubarak for the last 30 years. This funding and political orchestration leads to political blowback like these revolts. Dr. Paul is entirely on target and proves once again why nation building and foreign aid must be cut off.

It’s sad to think American tax money and money created out of thin air (which subsequently makes each of us poorer) is sent overseas all the time. As inflation booms prices rise and the economy continues to fall into a dismal abyss. Worry not though; rest easy knowing that your money, which is stolen from you, is funding sham governments. Roughly 40% of tax payer money goes toward aggressing against innocent people and private property all across the globe!

Of course there are those among us who feel this is proper and a “good” thing. I suppose they have a right to that. However they have no right to speak for me. I signed no such contract. So the underlying question is – where can I opt out of monopolized protectionism?
