Odds, Ends, and Football

The English Premier season has officially ended and unfortunately, or maybe fortunately West Ham United has finished 17th. That’s one place above relegation but no matter because even one spot above the drop is better than being in the drop. I am hopeful that once things settle down at the Grounds and the new ownership falls in line we will see some big improvements. I don’t know if Zola should stick around or not. Based on his performance this season it would be easy to say “sack him”. At the same time though it is a team effort so who knows. Either way next season will be do or die if he does stay. I can’t wait to see what the off-season brings.

Moving on, World Cup is around the corner, about 30 days away. I couldn’t be more excited. Last time in 2006 Portugal finished 4th place and as much as I was happy with the strong finish I wished they had handled the knockout better. The team is strong this go-round and I have a feeling they will be able to handle all the steep challenges thrown at them. At least I can hope, haha!

Not much to talk about today, peace to all the Hammer fans who visit. Glad you all enjoy those iPhone wallpapers, look for some new non-wallpaper gems headed your way. Come on you IRONS!

Nike Dunk Low “2006 World Cup, Team Portugal”

Just wanted to share these. Released in Portugal for the 2006 World Cup in which we finished 4th. These have been on my wish list for a while and finally (thanks to my brother) they are now apart of my collection. I am looking forward to rocking them this summer for World Cup 2010.

Not sure how much damage we (Portugal) are going to do considering we barely qualified for 2010 but there is always hope! Not exactly the best looking shoe but atleast it matches the Portugal kit. The shoe size acts as the players number on the tongue. Creative.
